Clubs, Committees and Societies in Willersey Village.
Because of their inherent beauty, villages in the Cotswolds attract many visitors. If a village however has say too many holiday cottages or absentee landlords, then the usual activities can fade away.
Willersey fortunately does have a really vibrant commercial and social life.
As well as our churches, St Peter's &
the Methodist Church, our two pubs,
The New Inn & and
The Bell Inn,
here are some of the clubs and societies
which are important contributors to social life in Willersey and the surrounding area.

If you are interested, come along and take a look for yourself. Terence Richardson 07527 398429
In 2001 at the 26th anniversary of its formation in 1975, Wednesday Club members enjoyed a most enjoyable talk on Quaint and Quirky Gloucestershire
by Mr Gordon Ottewell. His slides with amusing and informative commentary gave an insight into the many interesting churches, tombstones, follies and the like in the county from
the North Cotswolds to the South of the county and the Forest of Dean. Mr Ottewell was thanked by the chairman, Miss Helen Rhoden.
At the next meeting on April 11th the speaker was Mrs Rosemary Morris on Ecuador, Forests and Islands.
